The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) has confirmed the date and venue for the ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup semifinal first-leg match. PSM Makassar is scheduled to play at their home ground, BJ Habibie Stadium Parepare, for the first time in the competition.
This certainty was obtained from an immediate release sent by the Shoope Cup organizers to PSM Makassar this afternoon. Previously, the Rooster Team from the East played their home matches during the Shopee Cup group stage in Balikpapan and Bali.
However, with the BJ Habibie Stadium having been renovated and inspected, the AFF gave the green light for PSM Makassar to play in front of their own supporters when they host the semi-final first leg against Công An Hà Nôi FC FC from Vietnam on Wednesday, April 2.
The appointment of BJ Habibie Parepare Stadium as the venue for PSM Makassar to host Công An Hà Nôi FC also went through several stages. Such as workshops and assessments from the AFF that assess the feasibility of the LOC and BJ Habibie Parepare Stadium.
In addition, AFF has also received a statement in the form of a commitment from all PSM Makassar supporters and group representatives to maintain this match in terms of security and order.
